Step 1. Sign an Exclusive Buyers Representation Agreement with an Alex Lowery buyer's Agent. We will then set you up with a powerful web portal direct from the MLS. You won't be messing around with any IDX sites that are not updated regularly. You will be searching the MLS just like a Real Estate Agent does! We give you the tools for you to take control of your home search including web based property searches that automatically alert you with e-mail notifications when a price is reduced, something new comes on the market or a home is sold. We also provide lists of Builder incentives and a video library of builders and subdivisions to help you make a good decision if you are buying new construction.

Step 2. Pre-qualify for a Loan - It is smart to find out what you can comfortably afford before you start looking. By pre-qualifying, you are able to move quickly on a home you like by placing an offer. Being pre-qualified tells the seller you are serious about buying because you've taken the necessary steps to show that you are capable of financing the house you want. We do NOT contractually bind you to any particular institution for your home's financing. You are free to choose whichever lender you feel most comfortable working with for your home loan.

Step 3. Once you have identified properties of interest, your buyers agent will set up the showing schedule and accompany you to evaluate each home. You get the full benefit of have an experienced buyers agent to help guide you through the process. You are free to do research on your own and drive by the properties, but your buyer agent will never be more than just a phone call or email away to answer any questions you may have.

Step 4. Once you find the perfect place to call home, your buyers agent really goes to work for you. Your Alex Lowery agent will draw up your offer and make sure your best interests are fully represented. Alex Lowery Agents are trained and experienced negotiators who have an arsenal of proven negotiation strategies that work! Your agent will handle all counter offers and do all the paperwork necessary to get you to the closing table.

Step 5. Your Agent will give back up to 1.0% percent of the sale prices of the home you purchase at closing on your HUD1. You can use this money to cover some of your closing cost, thus saving you on your out-of-pocket expenses. However, you can not walk away from closing with cash in hand. All Realtor® contributions must be disclosed and approved by your lender and other appropriate parties. You can save more money if you use Alex Lowery to both Sell your present home or investment property and Buy a new one!
